The program removes pattern noise from DICOM and explicit images (jpeg, tiff, png, and BMP). This type of noise is prevalent in images digitized with a CR digitizer. The program uses the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), convolution low-pass filters in the frequency domain or/and natural frequency deleting to eliminate the pattern noise.
The Fourier transform
The Fourier transform is a mathematical tool that transfers an image from the spatial domain to the frequency domain. In the frequency domain, we can view the power spectrum of the image, which indicates how much a frequency participates in the image construction.
The low total cost of ownership
The program's license is perpetual, not expiring, and has no annual renewal or contract fees. The updates, maintenance, and support of the program are free. A registered user can download, install, and use every new program version without additional costs.
