Krita is a FREE and open-source digital painting tool designed for designers, illustrators, texture artists, matte painters, and the VFX (Visual Effects) field. Krita has been developing for over ten years and has recently experienced a growth explosion. It offers many standard and innovative features to help amateurs and professionals alike.
Krita 4 has many methods for selecting parts of your canvas to edit them. You can select shapes such as rectangles and circles, paint your selection, polygon selection, select by color, and choose Bezier. You can add, remove, or intersect to your selection. You can also select layer contents by context, clicking the layer and clicking “select opaque.” You can create a transparency layer or add one to an existing layer. This is an excellent tool for non-destructive changes.
